We keep emeralds under 3 carats for pairs — so you will find more of them in stud earrings than in rings. Ural emeralds are rich in chromium and glow from within; Zambian ones carry more iron — the colour is deeper, cooler and barely changes with the light. We grade emerald colour and clarity on the Russian scale, with reports from Diagem or Moscow State University.

choosing by eye

A report does not show how a stone plays: windows, colour dead spots and dispersion are visible only in person. So you decide only after seeing the stone, with no deposit. At the showroom we lay several stones of the same weight side by side to compare.
